At CTSI, our User Experience (UX) team has a singular goal – to partner with you to ensure your systems, workflows and associated outcomes match your initial vision. With experienced Business Managers, Teachers, and Registered Nurses specializing in the industries we serve, the UX team assists with the needs assessment across all CTSI’s market verticals and acts as a translator between the engineering team and the end-user.
“You must understand the User, to understand their technology and User Experience needs.”
– Jennifer Gehringer | RN Director of Training & User Experience
Our user requirements assessment includes observation of current workflow and technology to determine a new vision and identify existing challenges with the users’ current processes and infrastructure. We then collaborate to develop goals and objectives for the users’ process improvement project. Building a plan around the users’ requirements and expectations allows us to deliver tailormade solutions for the organization.
“Personalized workflow is something we strive for. Our UX team comes in at the beginning of the project to help navigate with a lens of workflow to make sure the user interface and points of the system are high touch & frictionless.”
– Michael Wilson | Director, Engineering
From the user requirements assessment, we then focus our design and engineering efforts on solution enhancements targeted to solve the users’ specific challenges and meet their unique objectives. Our UX team works alongside our certified design engineers to develop an integrated technology solution. We then develop a programming workbook along with implementation, training, and change management documentation. Once deployed, the system works as detailed to the users’ requirements. Optimized UX delivers a solution that enables the users to be more productive with systems that support daily operations.
End-user adoption is critical for the successful implementation of the new and improved system. It requires a change management initiative that leaders and managers can follow and is included in the services that we provide. The change management component is coupled with comprehensive training, which includes role-specific tips. Training sessions are available live in-person or online and with on-demand videos. We design training to align with the needs of the workforce.
“We work well together because we understand how we benefit from utilizing each other’s strengths.”
– Jennifer Gehringer | RN Director of Training & User Experience
