CTSI partnered with S2N to integrate the Audiovisual technologies throughout the University of Maryland’s new BioEngineering facility. The spaces included three Flex Conference Rooms, eleven integrated conferencing carts, Multiple Divisible seminar spaces, one Instruction Lab, a Control Room, a paging system, and a digital signage system. The systems were centrally controlled using a Crestron control system.

Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is a nationally recognized, 833 bed, nationally recognized regional medical center with Level 1 Trauma Center, serving Northern Virginia and the Washington, DC metro area. CTSI installed Responder 5 Patient Call systems integrated to Real-Time Locating Systems, EMR, and wireless mobile devices. Our solution is specifically designed to align with the hospital’s priorities and initiatives, including patient satisfaction, patient safety, improved staff communication and innovative workflows. MedStar Washington Hospital Center is the largest private hospital in Washington, D.C. A member of MedStar Health, the not-for-profit Hospital Center, licensed for over 900 beds, is an academic medical center in the hear of the nation’s capital.

- Mercy Medical Center
Mercy Medical Center is ranked one of the top hospitals in Baltimore and all of Maryland. They have received the Women’s Choice Award distinguishing it as one of the 2017 Best Hospitals for Patient Experience.
Mercy is home to the nationally acclaimed Weinberg Center for Women’s Health and Medicine as well as the $400+ million, 20-story Mary Catherine Bunting which opened with Responder 5 Nurse Call, Phone integration, ADT, and RTLS throughout. Their objective was to provide a quiet environment for their patients. We worked with Nursing Management on workflow and communication systems to improve the patient to nurse communication and nurse to nurse communication, saving time and reducing overhead noise.

Both Alexandria City Public Schools and Loudoun County Public Schools have made the Rauland TCU Critical Communications System the standard for their school district. - Maryland General Assembly (Annapolis, MD)
CTSI was tasked with the renovation of Maryland’s Senate and House of Delegate sub-committee rooms, meeting rooms and joint hearing room at the state capital in Annapolis, MD. This included upgrading the existing analog infrastructure with a new fully digital infrastructure. The installation required a combination of in-room category cabling and fiber optic infrastructure cabling to connect all rooms to a central Media Center located on the first floor. The mandate for government transparency was a driving factor for the functional design of these systems. All hearing room events are streamed to the internet and simultaneously recorded for on demand viewing by the public. A conference microphone system is used for vocal transmission while cameras automatically pan to the senator or delegate whose microphone goes live after being recognized by the chairman. Custom camera shots were developed utilizing video window processing to present witnesses and questioning members side by side while both microphones are active. Computer based web conferencing was integrated to provide a cost-effective solution for out of state witnesses participation. - The National Institutes of Health (NHLBI) (Multi-Locations, MD)
CTSI provided design and installation services for 18 integrated conference room spaces for NHLBI. These spaces included fully integrated video and audio conferencing capabilities utilizing a completely digital video infrastructure. PC based conferencing was included in the design to address current diversified conferencing needs. Integrated touch panel control systems were deployed to maximize room use by simplifying the user experience. - US Army (Fort Belvoir) (Multi-Locations, VA)

CTSI recently completed the Audiovisual Systems Technology Refresh for the World Bank Group headquarters conference room. CTSI provided System Engineering, Control System Programming and System Installation for the complete upgrade. The major components of the system upgrade included new HD Flat Panel Displays, 4K PTZ Camera System, Audio Digital Signal Processing and Digital Media Control System. CTSI provided design and installation services for the New Worship Center at the First Baptist Church of Highland Park. State of the art audiovisual systems bring the services to life with large projection screens and sound reinforcement. CTSI solutions enable residents the ability to seamlessly integrate their lives with our technology systems. CTSI designs the building’s infrastructure, providing the backbone in which all ancillary systems run off of. Our customized Audiovisual systems provide residents with intuitive functionality throughout the amenity spaces while giving the property management staff control of the entire system. Our security systems give residents peace of mind while providing staff with the most up to date technology to ensure safety. Our IT team provides a local Network for the staff as well as the Wi-Fi system for residents and guests to stay connected.

CTSI designed and built the audiovisual system at The Hepburn in Washington, DC. Advertised as one of the most luxurious new apartments in the city, CTSI designed and implemented a state of the art Audiovisual system at the Hepburn. This included an audio system throughout all amenity spaces. Some areas provide evenly dispersed background music, while other spaces give residents ability to connect to the system directly. The latest flat panel displays were strategically placed throughout the amenity spaces providing impressive imagery and functionality. CTSI designed and installed outdoor TV’s that were integrated into the Cabanas on the rooftop. - 82 Eye Street by Greystar Properties
